Recent Lovely Finds

Recently I have found my new favorite bottle of liqueur St. Germain it's made from Elderflower so it's light, delicate and has a sweet taste to it. One of my new favorite cocktails is this one featured on there website.
The great thing about St. Germain is that you can mix it with basically any type of liquor. Check it next time you are at your local liquor store. :)

Today me and my fiance decided to check out our local natural food co-op Clintonville Community Market. We found so many fun and local foods like raw banana chocolate cheezcake (not really cheese since its vegan :P), stuffed grape leaves, local vegan muffins, and ect. We decided to go ahead and get a membership which gives us a 5% discount every time we shop and Thursdays an extra 5% for student discount how can you say no to that.

Recently my fiance and I have decided to be more conscience shoppers and buy in bulk and local when we can. I work at another local market called the North Market its a great since of community and a way to help your local agriculture and businesses (besides who wants to help another corporate business like Wal-Mart that just can about getting your money not the quality of their products).

Personally I am a vegetarian and lately at home we have tended to cook and eat more like vegans. Last week I experimented with nutritional yeast on some heavily vegged pizza along with using egg re placer in baked goods. Jon made an amazing tofu scramble breakfast with vegan sausage patty and fresh fruit salad :P It was sooo delicious!!! When it comes to cooking tofu he has me beat any day, but it's nice to have a relaxing morning on the back porch basking in the morning sun while someone cooks you breakfast :)

Well for now I hope you check out your local natural foods market and try out some vegan recipes for yourself!! When in doubt check out any of the Moosewood Cookbooks I still have yet to find a recipe I didn't love :D

Happy Adventuring!!

Pinhole Cameras

Recently I found while blogging a website that has free pinhole camera templates :D You can find the link here. I really want to try out these...

I haven't done any pinhole work since my sophmore year of college, though I loved it!

(my post grad work)

Photography is something that has always fascinated me not the digital stuff but the all hands in black and white classic work. I would love to have a dark rook some day :) I can't wait for the weather here to change so I can spend time outside again and go for a bike ride with a homemade pinhole and document my adventures!
